If you're an angry white male in your late 20's into metal, a band is looking for a singer.
The brief:
You:
25-35, good sense of humour, lank charisma, must drink beer and hard tack, must look the part, must tune lank, have strong opinions, must prefer the old south africa, must have own transport, must be angry, must be white, english or afrikaans, must be a total mental metal head to the core. Must like, listen to, be able to sing: Slayer, The Haunted, Snot, At The Gates, Lamb of God, Pantera, etc. No death/black metal.
We:
36, 37, 41, we laugh a lot, we have loads of charisma, we drink beer and cider mixed together and we drink tack mixed with anything or on it's own, we have strong opinions and we tune lank kak, we are english white people and we prefer the old south africa, we listen to Slayer, The Haunted, At The Gates, Lamb of God, The Refused, Faith No More, Machine Head, Billy Talent, Pantera, Carnal Forge, Snot, Alexisonfire, Deftones, Tool, Gallows, you get the picture.
We have access to the best studio and award winning producer in the country and will record our second full length album next year. Other than that we have nothing planned.
So if you think you can hack it and work with us, we will certainly give you a try and let's rock out.

Good riddance they booked the same overpriced djs who with there narrow minded thinking tend to not think beyond their’s and their mates record labels when playing, incest that ran the same gauntlet forever, recurring on an annual basis. residents Terry Francis, Richards anyone???...pretty overrated huh. Change is good; no one club should dominate the landscape. I hope to god this happens to an unORIGINal club in my town…with the winds of change blowing briskly into the sails it’s already starting to happen.
Long live Berghain with their dominant music policy and indestructible residents.

tragic. some of my best club experiences ever at that place. Looks like Matter completely backfired on them. they had to pump millions into it to keep it alive and now its taken them down with it.

I'm glad someone's posted this flyer in all its glory as it gives me a chance to comment on these poor sad fashion victims. I see Waddy Jones and his girlfriend/receptacle/concubine shopping in Woolworths in that ridiculous safari suit regalia and I just want to stop them and say something like, its ok guys, you can let it slip every now and again ffs. What the fuck is it with those two? Are they constantly in a state of readiness waiting for a photographer from iD to show up and give them the recognition they so crave in some psychophantic SA 'scene' rag or better yet some preposterous Eurofashionista publication? What drives people to this frightening extreme? Its not even like he's a good rapper ffs, he's got an annoying delivery and his lyrics are total zz. Is there some sort of point to this whole sad carnival freak aesthetic that I'm missing? Some sort of wry comment on South African consumer culture? I wish someone would enlighten me cos from where I'm sitting its really a bit of a mystery to be honest. Why don't they stick to buying organic mange tout at that infernal Neighbourhood Goods market on a saturday morning instead of this pointless exercise in social commentary?!

WTJ is an interesting phenomena for the exact reasons you've mentioned. his complete detatchment from reality is quite facinating.
and yeah, he's incapable of connecting the seemingly superior and more stylistically sophisticated parrallel universe he lives in to the one the rest of us mere mortals are stuck in. constructus corporation was cool, but everything else his done is just too 'next level'.
there's no doubt that the boy is talented, but being different for the sake of being different has it's natural limits and he's gone waaaaay beyond them

Vide's coffee is rubbish, the beans they start with are probably ok, but they burn them beyond recongnition, and they cant texture milk for shit. That said , its one of the best you'll get in ct. I think Waddys a talented guy (but i think sibots production always carried that stuff a lot further than it may otherwise have gone) but would he make such a huge impact outside South Africa? I doubt it...
