Proceeds will go towards upgrading the computer lab in the Nazeema Isaacs library in Khayelitsha, and technology that will benefit not only the community at large, who uses the lab, but also the young people who are interested in pursuing careers that provide opportunity to express creativity and apply technical skills. With faster, better computers, and a projector, the lab will enable Animation SA, as well as other organisations and companies, to bring their outreach and training initiatives into Khayelitsha, raise awareness of the animation and creative industries, and provide opportunities for disadvantaged youth to express themselves through multimedia.
