Deep House Classic

On Friday 20th March 2009 ‘Expressionsct’ will be hosting another Deep House Classic. This one will be at Deluxe (corner Longmarket and Long) Dj’s on the night will be Craig De Sousa, Erefaan Pearce and Kevin Gray. Melanie Scholtz will be performing two live sets and will be handing out a few signed copies of her current cd. For more information on Melanie see links below and read her biog she is easily one of SA’s most promising jazz artists.

Music policy for the night is…classic deep house, Craig is going to be blending some of our favorites from the MORE era, and has mixed a CD exclusively for the party and we will be giving them out late in the night. Erefaan will be dropping some monster bombs from his U.S. Garage crate, and Kevin will be spinning some classic tunes from back in the day on labels such as Murk, Strictly Rhythm, Eight Ball, Paper, Tribal, etc.loads of vocals, guitars, bongo’s, piano’s…maximum sexy, sublime-ness!! Facebook ‘Expressionsct’ group members write on the wall and rsvp ‘attending’ if you want a special concession price R40, ticket left at the door for you, which will be available for you to collect all night…Yesterday’s future!!

We have access to the best studio and award winning producer in the country and will record our second full length album next year. Other than that we have nothing planned.

Change is good; no one club should dominate the landscape. I hope to god this happens to an unORIGINal club in my town…with the winds of change blowing briskly into the sails it’s already starting to happen.

tragic. some of my best club experiences ever at that place. Looks like Matter completely backfired on them. they had to pump millions into it to keep it alive and now its taken them down with it.
